The big advantage with bringing in Moyes was he’s clearly been keeping track of our games whilst Dyche was in charge and knows our players as well as a lot of the coaching staff.
Hopefully he feels he has something to prove here and is braver against the big teams.

Good post, but I don't think it's a binary choice if I'm honest, I think we were desperate for someone to steady the ship and up to now Moyes has done that. One thing I've noticed about this Everton team is inconsistency, over the years we have had managers having really good first Seasons only for the team to tail off and go downhill the Second season. Look through the managers first and second seasons.
But if Moyes keeps us up and the improvement in play continues he will for me deserve a second season and then we will see if the second season syndrome continues.

Hopefully he gets us on a nice cup run and to Wembley.

Then hopefully he slings his 'kin hook in the summer.

Morally he's about as low as you can go if you're an Evertonian with any pride and a sense of recent history.

It says it all about people wanting to be entertained by the utter tat in this squad.

They've played better under Moyes, for sure. But let's have it right: the tripe we've beaten in the last few weeks is no test of how good they actually are....which iswhy we are ALL agreed we need players in this window.

Hey I’ve been entertained since Moyes came in you know.

Sorry i dont buy that.

He fooled a large majority of our fan base in thinking we are where we should be (scrapping relegation)

If we employed let say Moyes when Dyche was appointed

We wouldnt of needed the final whistle to blow against Bournemouth to survive, would of been safe way earlier
We would of been well comfortable last season even with the points deduction
We would be mid table now and not far of 35 points already

Thats with an average manager
If we appoint Moyes instead of Dyche we of been in Europe this season

Im one of them who wont give him credit!

If he was the only man who could of done what he done then yes, but i could get 18 current PL managers to achieve what Dyche done here in 2 years
Our supporters where too dumb to see that his tactics was the reason why we was circling the drain, if a competent manager came here instead of Dyche we wouldnt have relegation threads open every season.

I think our current manager is proving how useless Dyche is.
I dont even rate Moyes but he is making the ginger fella look amateurish.
I was at Wembley in 09. Travelling from 3am from Kilkenny and home at about 12 midnight. It was gut busting and so disappointing but I believe He has learned. The sheer style and attacking that we are seeing now is like the dawn to the darkness of recent years
