Ok.Alan Myers reckons ATM it looks like we are signing no one ?
He'd have to prove he's a better option than one of the goalkeepersIs Omari Benjamin capable of getting on the bench and playing some minutes?

903 pages of it….and there’s not been one single transferEverton angst
Considering we have three fit wing options and Ndiaye may be needed as a rotation up front we need to look at everything . Still hope a few come in but yeah we may need to give a kid or two a goHe'd have to prove he's a better option than one of the goalkeepers

Errrm you know that if a okdyers gets injured whilst on loan the club loaning still is contracted to pay his wages?L’Equipe reporting that we may not even be sending Mangala back, absolutely shocking if true and a massive oversight by our DOF
Would be foolish to leave ourselves exposed with only one keeper on the bench imoConsidering we have three fit wing options and Ndiaye may be needed as a rotation up front we need to look at everything . Still hope a few come in but yeah we may need to give a kid or two a go
If there is a loan fee paid by the loaning club (Everton) - then the loanee club (Lyon) is under no obligation to take the player back during the agreed loan term.L’Equipe reporting that we may not even be sending Mangala back, absolutely shocking if true and a massive oversight by our DOF
Not just that but I don’t even think there was a loan fee, just a commitment to pay his wages. For a player of that standard it was a massive favour from Textor. The idea that we could’ve insisted on a unilateral break clause in a deal that was already very much in our favour is pretty ridiculous. If there is a loan fee paid by the loaning club (Everton) - then the loanee club (Lyon) is under no obligation to take the player back during the agreed loan term.
No oversight, just the machinations of loan contracts. It could be considered a duty of care for Lyon to take Mangala back to have his ACL injury treated by their own medical department, but it wouldn't absolve Everton of their salary commitments or their loan fee.
It's the same situation with Broja, but at least the Mangala loan doesn't impede our attempts to loan another player from outside of the Premier League.
