It's a maximum of 4 : 2 domestic and 2 foreign

This is the key section: none of it applies to foreign loans

I just want to post this golden nugget again from Joe Thomas from the Echo, posted 2 days ago.

"Despite that challenge, heading into the weekend there was cause for positivity around the work the Blues had done in the transfer window. While no incomings had been secured, there was a sense the groundwork had been done and that the club was in a good position to act on that in the closing stages of the window"

So let's see if this positivity is misplaced or if they do have their ducks in a row ready to go before Mondays deadline.

We're going to need Moyes to pull a really good result on Saturday with extreme limitations up top, then they have 48hrs to get players in.

Because if they don't, that paragraph will be one of the most comical paragraphs I've heard in years

Didn’t Davey usually always used to wait till the end of the window to do deals when we were skint.

Won’t be any business done now at this stage until Sun/Mon heading into a programme of games at the weekend.

We'll see what kind of mood Moyes is in tomorrow. Wouldn't think he'd be best pleased with what he has available to him for such a big game Saturday.

I'm sure a lot of managers/DOFs will be suggesting they were waiting until the UCL/Europa games had finished up so they'd know if their primary targets were going to be available or not, hence not a vast amount of clubs doing a lot of business so far.

He isn’t really a whinger, my take would be he’s torpedoed a load off plans behind the scenes, he can be stubborn, I think he’d rather go with what he’s got then not bring in better, he can be very frugal, he’s always been like that.

The Ferguson and Dan Neil interest I’d say is all him.
