Like most of you I want some new attackers. Especially a striker.

Key thing is buying players who fit the style of play. That's on Thelwell. Just buying players and hoping it works isn't going to cut it. He and Moyes (assume he'll have input) have to sort that now.
No way Moyes would've signed if he didn't have input into transfers. He most likely has final say

This Sulemana guy from Southampton has something on him, needs game time and coached, might be affordable if they go down.

He’s had one good game though. He may have something about him but Southampton bought him a few years ago and he’s shown hardly anything up until last night. Would be a gamble that he’ll develop the consistency for the top level, although I suppose we are in the territory of having to take those gambles.

we still need a midfielder. Even with Garner and Iroegbunam coming back, Gueye will retire soon and Mangala should be sent back at the end of the season. If we could go for a central midfielder with some actual mobility and passing range it might help all the forward players if we had more of the ball and they were getting it earlier

A report on Liverpool world that we have agreed a £17m fee for Ernest Nuamah, this says we will now agree personal terms. There were previous reports that we had already agreed personal terms, so hopefully this moves quickly now.
Nothing has been agreed.

Lyon playing games according to Bobble.

Which I believe...Lyon are trying to start a bidding war.

I agree, but think midfield can wait until the summer. We need upgrades in the attacking positions urgently.

They're literally goal difference away from their target  I doubt they'll be wetting their beds about it, but you never know I guess
I repeat

'Bournemouth and Forest have out performed them in the last 12 months massively, spending a fraction of the net spend Brighton have.'

Beating ipswich away isnt no big licks, even we did that.
If you beat the bottom 5 home & away is 30 points, not that hard

Agreed, in a league with other teams not even blinking to spend 50/60 mill per player, we now seem to be targeting talented young players with potential. We just need more of them through the door this window!

Back in the Moshiri spending phase, we were buying 28/29 years olds for higher fees and higher wages, so we are buying more sensibly.

These signings will be important in the future .. when we have a decent squad and need a few high quality players to push on

But while Moyes is here we should be signing younger players that we can improve and turn a profit on

Wonder if we could sort a loan swap with Chelsea. Send Broja back, but they continue to get our money for another player (they've got enough spare)!

Carney Chukwuemeka plays attacking mid possibly.
