Apparently we ain’t in him, which is no surprise reallyDepends if we move on Beto and send Broja back. He would not have much competition. Only DCL with Chemiti still injured.
Yeah it's hard to know what the context of it was really, I can see that some people took the 'player for the here and now' to be someone only for the here and now, which wasn't really how I took it. I assumed he meant a player who they thought could make an instant impact and a player who would be brought in with a view to being developed over time, but it's subjective as to what you think he was getting at.You could be right there mate, assuming ofc Ornstein isn't chatting bubbles.
The potential thing could be what you say my take was someone whose not walking in as a starter straight off - kinda remember Moyes bedding in players from the championship in the past over a season or more
If Palmer was PL ready why didn't City play him?If Cannon is PL ready, why aren’t Leicester playing him?
I think Chermiti looks like he is going to be a good players tbh.Cannon would be an upgrade on Chermiti, who is a bit crap and never fit anyway. I think a deal for Beto is lined up, so we will need to bring in another centre forward in addition to Cannon if Beto is sold.
Slightly different. If Palmer was PL ready why didn't City play him?
I'm guessing it depends on the management or the DOF at the club. Did we turn away Harland as we deemed him not good enough? If Palmer was PL ready why didn't City play him?
Except he didn'tYou just made that up.
Ok then if Branthwaite was PL ready why did we ship him off on loan when we were pants?Slightly different.
City were winning the league every year, so felt they didn’t need him.
I’ve just checked Leicesters position in the table… they could definitely do with good players.
Chermiti's a difficult one to judge because it sounds like he's going to miss virtually the entire season with injury, which is obviously a pretty massive deal. A layoff like that could seriously affect what he's capable of in his entire career, and will almost certainly have a huge impact on what they expect from him in the short term - he was a work in progress as it was, losing 12 months of development isn't exactly ideal. So Chermiti not going to make it here either?
I mean seriously, just how bad has the recruitment been at this club over the last 10 years?
Does this club ruin every young prospect it brings in? It’s not like tgey paid peanuts for Chermiti as well. Same goes for O’Brien.
If I was a young player I’d swerve this graveyard massively.
no relegation battles. boring that. BOOOOOOOOOOOBrighton's aim is to finish consistently in the top 10.
