I may be misguided but given our situation, I think for £25m the player should have clear evidence of having delivered goals/assists in their career. Even if it was at a lower level / league.

Doucs , bolasie , Beto all cost more than 25m and have about 4 career goals between them lol

We need to get away from being mugged off by every club slapping a £25m price tag on their player just because we’re after them. Someone like Brighton would pick that Nuamah fella up for about £10m plus add ons.

Same...Got a feeling Moyes will be driving it.

And so he should, the idea that a guy who doesn't run the team doesn't get final say on players is mad, maybe if you are recruiting for profit margins etc it works.
But at the moment we are recruiting to improve the team

And while they may be good players they are paying absolute top dollar- clubs are getting precisely what they ask for for their players and I’m not sure that says great things about Weir if he is negotiating those- it’s easy to land players if you ask what a club wants then give it to them.
