If you can't get behind the team and the manager then please don't set foot in Goodison. We need a united front now if we're to have any hope of staying up. I don't care what you think of Moyes. He's here, so back him. I know that message is wasted on some of you (specifically Dave) since its obvious that many of you rarely go outside, never mind attend the match.......
Is right

Get behind the manager.

One big difference that Moyes hasn't got this time is the comfort blanket of kenwright who would have backed him no matter what. He'll know that just surviving and us being plucky old Everton will not be acceptable to our new owners.

Careful with money full stop, probability is what got him the job, "due diligence dave".

I’ll be there Wednesday, same I was there Thursday and I’ll be behind the new management team same as I was behind the last even though I was initially against the appointment.

I am however extremely underwhelmed by the Moyes decision and i can’t pretend im not , I think I’m entitled to be both disappointed by the decision to be honest .

Few days ago I called Moyesian football a dross fest, my mind is still relatively in that category

Having said that, Potter would have been even worse and we dodged a massive bullet there. I'll take a drossfest manager over an incompetent manager
I think he’d have been a poor appointment for us , given that I’m probably surprised Everton didn’t do it

Hasn't had as much pace this season going forward but playing him further back will extend his career at top level
Playing him further back probably won’t help prolong our stay at the top level though.
I see limited positional discipline from him, and he’s the biggest culprit for mis-placed and under hit passes

This Season - Do not get relegated
Next Season - Top 10
Foundation laid, then we aim for the Champions League spot.

Over to you @davek...:coffee:

I have been as negative as anyone about Moyes return but that all goes out the window once he starts his new job.
Of course we will all be behind him what is to be gained by moaning once he settles in the job?
At the end of the day we all want the same thing.

You didn't need to say about else beyond this mate. The post wasn't aimed at you. I get being frustrated and not particularly happy with the appointment but its where we're at. I've been underwhelmed by 99% of our recent appointments so Moyes is just the latest one but like you I'm gonna back him.

Didn’t he come through the academy 🤔

Chelsea released him from their youth academy.
