Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Morning everyone,

Great to hear from @anjelikaferrett and @Barnfred 55 with their online postcards.

Pretty disastrous return to ping pong last night. Hadn't played in almost a month and the school hall was absolutely freezing, I was more concerned about pulling a muscle than hitting the ball! No idea how @blueloon goes running in these temperatures - I will stick to the warm gym .

Mrs J off to the rescue shop today so I'm in charge of the animals and granny - oh the responsibility.

I'm still totally unconvinced that TFG will pull the trigger on Dyche and even less sure that they have anyone decent lined up as his replacement.

Happy days.

Have a lovely day everyone.

Morning all , white out conditions here , may abandon planned run in favour of gym treadmill!. @jazzy , the secret of my running is like you and your table tennis - I enjoy it ! It’s not for everybody obviously, I have three layers, hat and gloves and run slower in this weather. My motivation is I’ve got a marathon to run in April, need to clock up the miles 🙂.
I hate it when we are so bad I have to keep check on Wolves v Forest scores in case it plunges us into the relegation zone 😕
It’s nice to see the photos of people on their journeys to different parts of the world , have a good day all , stay safe and warm!

Evening all Our day today was pretty much scuppered by th weather. We were going to go to see The Giant's Causeway but freezing icy rain persuaded us that it probably wasn't a great idea so we went inland - and got caught in a complete white out blizzard that seemed to come out of nowhere. So we turned round, headed back to Belfast and spent the afternoon in the establishment below. Very lovely it was too. We used our time wisely - deciding who we would have if we put a band together. Singer, bass and lead guitars, drummer and keyboards.
Mine was Debbie Harry, Mark Knoefler, Jon Entwistle, Max Weinberg and Paul Humphries. Mr F chose Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Jack Bruce, Cozy Powell, and Elton John as the keyboard player. We're now back in our hotel room, allegedly to watch Newcastle but I can hear snores from next to me!20250107_144203.webp20250106_190920.webp

Good morning all on this dark one here . I hope all are well after a good night and have a fabulous day today . It looks like there is a gin shortage in SA ,surely it cannot be confined to Fridays in a place like that .We are still to see the shirts that are cheap there ! It looks a wonderful place to stay ,just think I offered him a visit here and he chose that place ! There is no pleasing some folk .He could have done some exercise with me yesterday clearing 40 cm snow drifts so I could get the car out .I wonder just what some people want from a holiday ! Have a great day all COYB
It does seem that tomorrow could be the last chance for Dyche .
