You have to take into account the situation with Roma.

They have obviously been keeping a close eye on Everton but unable to make any official changes.

Whereas at Roma, they have sacked a icon, picked a scapegoat as manager who struggled instantly then backtrack quickly to install a club favourite.

I think they thought given how badly we have been run, Dyche has done well and despite how terrible we play, he has done well.

So I think they thought he will be fine for the short term then in the summer we'll make our move, just like they did with Roma after the sacking Fonseca despite finishing 5th and getting to the Semi-Finals.

Now we are entering a real problem, we have just been taken over and the plan A is failing quickly. Dyche needs wins and this FA Cup game might be the catalyst BUT he has to find the formula.

The new owners are sending out all the right signals about facing down the noisy discontents.

If they back Dyche with some signings and we climb the table they'll see that as an important line in the sand drawn regarding being railroaded by the pitchforkers who ruled the roost in the Moshiri era.

Look at the league table, then look at it again, then again, until it sinks in.

We don't score goals. The only team that scores less than us is rock bottom of the table.

We aren't getting out of the relegation zone once we're in it.

We either go down as we are now, and under Dyche we're not even fighting, we're just setting up to not 'lose' every single game.

Is that how you want us to go down, like a team that is too scared to even attack other teams?

I get you're point about a revolving door of managers which happened under Moshiri, he pulled the trigger on some cases far too quickly, managers weren't allowed time to build squads and we ended up with an abomination of about six managers / two DOF'S differing players all stuck in the same squad. I said as much myself. But since Ancellotti left us in the lurch, we have had Benitez had to go the fans turned on him, Lampard, the fans were turning on him we were in desperate danger of relegation, had to go. We have now reached the same breaking point with Dyche, the fans have turned on him, we are in desperate danger of relegation, everyone knows he is a dead man walking, he has ran out of ideas, the football we play is atrocious and we can not score a goal to save our lives. Something has to change, the question is can we risk relegation to let him run down his contract ? I don't think so, the players are not stupid they know he's gone at the end of the season at the latest, he's admitted they didn't listen to him last week and be honest what decent player would want to sign for us with the club in danger of going down, knowing the manager is a dead Duck ? Better cut our losses and pull the trigger, but only for the right manager, the Friedkins have experience in these matters and we must trust their judgement, after all its their money at stake, they are not daft.

I agree he has to go, Dyche isn't the answer but The Friedkin Group has being here less than a month and seen us not getting pumped 5-0 against City and Chelsea so you can see why they want to hold fire.

I know but our new owners have just got there and don't have a full time board in place.

We need a CEO, decision on Director of Football and a decision on the manager in that order otherwise it's all going a bit Moshiri.

I'll repeat AGAIN I don't want him here but I want this club to be run correctly and better so rather jump the gun and sack him day one, let the billionaire business guys get their house in order so we can sort ours.

Dyche WILL be gone but it won't be this week
