Looks like they will run with Dyche until the summer and bring Sir Southgate in when he is ready to return to work.
Sorry, i cant see how giving Dyche money to spend would be a good investment: He likes " grafters " like Harrison and Dacoure over game changers and then there is his ridiculous standards of getting players up to "his" fitness standards ( which is tragically ironic when you see how slow we start the season after his shambolic preseasons). Poor old Jake O'Brien must be one unfit player! No. I dont admit to that.
Hel's literally been the difference between us staying up and being relegated. His ability to keep calm and go through and out the other end of poor periods of the last two seasons have been exemplary.
I wont join in a stampede - we've just played 5 of the top 8 in the last 5 games and lost only to the worst two of them.
The lack of chances are explained by the absence of forward thinking players like McNeil and Garner.
The smart thing to do is to give him some cash to spend to get some pace into this team by buying at least 1 FB and a winger and get him a decent play maker/forward.
That'd have to be done in any case if we got another manager in.
If this lot panic now because certain fans are demanding Dyche's head it'll be catastrophic for this club.
Oh bloody hell…Looks like they will run with Dyche until the summer and bring Sir Southgate in when he is ready to return to work.
Didn't Moshiri know a lot about business too ?Just changed my vote to negative for the soul reason of not sacking Dyche.
If football was ever about the supporters the new owners, irrespective of what they say in the media don’t have much thought for the go the game and armchair supporters of Everton if they cannot see what he is doing and not reacting to it!
They may know alot more in business than us but I’m sure they don’t know more about football if they are keeping him in charge.
That plan better involve them getting their wallets out.The Friedkins will have a plan and they’ll stick to it regardless of what the fans think.

How can you tell that mate after 3 weeks?Seems like the plan was minimal investment and try to make big money from sponsorship deals. They should have identified that a club in crisis needs investment.

I agree, they should both be out the door.Dyche and Thelwell should have been packing their bags within 2 working days.
The difference is mate, that I don’t think Doucoure would play for Potter. I also think that if Tarkowski couldn't play the system (personally, I think he could - at last until the end of rhe season), he'd get dropped for someone who could.I'll be honest: Potter terrifies me. Could you imagine Doucoure and Tarkowski playing Potterball?
I don't think we can pivot from Dycheball to Potterball without at least a full summer of pre-season and an absolute slate of new players.
I think if we do get a replacement for Dyche this month, it's more likely to be somebody in the vein of Moyes, Mourinho, or Allegri - defensively sound managers who can find a balance between defence and attack - rather than a complete stylistic change a la Potter or Roberto Martinez.
That's not to say I expect any of Moyes, Mourinho, or Allegri, more that I think that's the type of manager we need to get us safe for five months given the absolute dross he will have to work with.
