Carsley

I actually think Lee Carsley would do a good job for us. I was disappointed he turned down the Ireland job, although it was an understandable decision!

Catterick, Kendall and Royle. The moral of the story as to our post second world war history, is that we only win things when a former player at the club is manager.

Carsley or anyone else will inevitably run into the same problems the previous people have.

And then we will have the same repetitive behaviour from fans, the same kind of media articles spinning the truth and the same inevitable lack of success and disappointment.

Change the club, change the culture, then change the manager.

We’ve been changing managers first, it’s not worked at all because it’s the club itself that needs fixing first.
I agree in part but you can do both at the same time.
We've been changing managers so often because we've been hiring awful managers.
lets stop doing that.

Of all our former players, with the exception of Arteta, I don`t know of any that have made a positive impact as a coach or manager at club level, particularly at a high level. Carsley is well settled in the are he lives which suited doing the U21 job with England, and he didn`t seem to want to relocate as one of his children has down syndrome and relocating for a new job might be hard for him. I`m not sure that taking a club job which would take up a lot of his time away from his family would be high on his list of things he wants to do now.

I've been saying it for months...

Carsley and Baines working together.

Let's take a chance...

It cannot be worse than the rubbish we are watching every week with @davek in charge...

Can't agree more. The manager should only be sacked once there are no other options really. I am all for a change top down, something we need to start now.
We already have a New Chairman, an Executive Chairman, Colin Chong and I presume a Board.
Next cab off the hierarchical rank to go is either the DoF or the Manager.
I vote 'Manager' as he is the Immediate problem.

Taxi !
