I'm sure it's been said before in this thread, but he reminds me so much of Steven Pienaar. Deceptively strong for someone of his size, and his ability to receive the ball under pressure and beat his man/win a free kick to take the pressure off/give us time to progress up the pitch is invaluable to a side like ours who tend to sit so deep.

It becomes more apparent when you watch his highlight reel: when receiving the ball with his back to goal/on the half turn you can see him waiting for the opponent to get too tight to him, then a quick jink and he's gone.

His ability to turn with the ball and run at the opposition takes a lot of pressure off us,it allow us to regroup.

Needs a Baines to back him up.

Even me overlapping would make a difference in drawing defenders away and creating half a yard of space.

It was a wonderfully taken goal, but it ultimately comes about because both Harrison and Coleman are high up the pitch which creates a pocket of space for Doucoure to take a touch, get his head up and put the ball in the box.

Imagine the danger Ndiaye would be able to cause if we regularly worked these situations on his side of the pitch.
