Sacked and the end of his managerial career, you'd imagine. hope
I don't dislike Rooney or have any ill will towards him, however how he and other professionals continue to get managerial jobs really does frustrate me.

He hasn't succeeded anywhere he goes nor does he leave the club in a better position; there isn't any philosophy, and the stories you hear are remarkable.

He's just not a person that is cut out to be a professional football manager. Fair play to him for giving it a try, but I can't see where his next gig comes from after his inevitable sacking in the next week or two.

Not surprising to see a gifted player fail at mgmt...entirely different skillset. It's like making a carpenter an electrician or vice versa. You both might work in home building but that doesn't mean either would be fit to do the others' job.

He wasn't overly professional whilst managing Derby, and it looks as if it's the same thing again during his Plymouth managerial career.

About a month ago, I spoke to a current Plymouth defender (I am sure you can work it out), and he pretty much said it's headless chicken time.

I don’t know a blue who hasn’t been in the company or shared a pint with Wayne. He defo drinks like a sailor. So these don’t surprise me.

Isn’t he due to have his annual “cheat-on-Coleen-a-thon”, soon?

He wasn’t even a good manager in MLS which is a league where a decent manager can make a lot of difference as there’s generally so much parity between squads.

I can’t for the life of me figure out why he keeps getting chances.

He's a draw, just like Bobby Charlton was. He'd be better off going and being a youth team coach somewhere, somewhere warm, and sunny. Somewhere where the main manager can help bring him on and get to know a squad and sub squad and try to realise a few styles of play and the players to put it into practice.

He's advanced to far beyond where he should be, and the whirlwind around his playing days is overshadowing his capabilities and achievements as a manager. Needs to start again.
