2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Couple of better attacking players we could have slaughtered them there.

Carried a real threat on the counter despite having crap players.

If we’d had some genuine pace there it would have been 3/4-1.

Can’t fault Dyche in the last month, players are working hard for him as well. I’d still rather he got to May than we try and reset now and risk it.

Change the club itself before any new manager. That’s what needs fixing first. It should have been done decades ago. Long overdue. Get all the phoneys and scabs out of the club and run it properly.

You’re so LinkedIn mate. Can you give us daily affirmations please, it could lift this whole club back to the top.

Embarrassing

Agreed, may as well keep him til end of the season then get a proper manager in.

Until then, I'm going to enjoy the seethe he generates in me 😅

I think there’ll still be plenty of fume but I respect the job he’s doing when the writing is clearly on the wall. BEST case scenario for him is he makes it until May, worst case was he went before this run of games.

Fair play to him for not turning it in and grinding out three excellent points.

This is it , its not the tactics the forward players just aren’t good enough mate.

Exactly. We left ourselves needing to make up the points in the tougher games, because we completely botched the easiest start out of everyone in the league. So I can’t give him credit until the points have been made up, if we lose today we’re under 1 ppg with almost half the season played and on course for mid-30s points total which could see us relegated. That is underperformance in my opinion, and he should have an ultimatum to win the next 2 or he’s sacked.

I think we just need to take each game as it comes. We definitely need to capitalize on the easier fixtures that are coming though.

Really? Well I never knew that.

3 wins all season long. 3 wins. 8 wins in 2024. 8 wins in over a year (since Burnley away). But let's not dwell on it.
39 points in those 38 games. Dyche would be happy with that return over an actual season, he doesn't care how few games Everton win to get there.
