I like him as a person but feel he has let the club down by carrying on playing for Ireland when the club who pays his wages needed him more.
If Seamy was the type to take wages over country then he was never going to be the same player. He has never let Everton down. If only the rest of the them cared as much as he does.
 

Absolute top drawer pro,even better fella,however it is symptomatic of our problems as a club that Seamus is still here,he should really have gone three to four years ago,not his fault,lad gives the lot for us and appears to be the motivator in chief off the pitch as well,I would be all for a testimonial at BMD but Christ I hope to god it is not Seamus or Young as our RB opening fixture at BMD!!!

Some said the same about Ashley Young.

Look at him now.

Give both new contracts...they deserve it for being top blues and nice guys.
