No not really. Wolves could easly had their fix of moyes allardyce etc to go along them lines even for a short fix.
I think clubs are looking to move on from scoring less goals than games ratio. There's prob a good reason why dyche was at Burnley for 10 years. You need to stop kidding yourself he'll be in demand.
He wont.

We’ll see pretty soon won’t we. Clubs are always looking for PL survival, finances are more important to them than the aesthetics fans may desire. Some of them will fall on that sword once but they won’t do it again.

Southampton have turned to Juric because he’s a manager who will drill defensive discipline. Leeds went to Allardyce after Marsch failed. Wolves have gone with Pereira another defensive manager. Teams will do anything to survive, and when one is in the relegation zone next season and Dyche is available you think their owners will be like ‘nah I just don’t like his goal per game ratio and I’m willing to lose 100s of millions to hold that point of view’.

He’s a bottom half operator, he’ll get another job in the PL if he wants one quite easily in my view.

I don’t get your point. Both had decent careers at lower table teams, some decent some bad. Both won manager of the year. You think we should be comparing him to pep?
Last time I looked we were a lower team club with no money spent.
The fact that lower table teams lose more games than higher table teams isn’t that shocking to me.
You don't think we should of beat Southampton both times we've played them this season?

You don’t think he’ll be back int he bottom half of the prem at some point? That execs all over the league struggling with PS&R won’t see what he did on a negative net spend? He’ll easily walk into employment when he wants to, exactly the same way he did when we found ourselves in that position.

ye he’s suited to clubs who aren’t assed if they win games

He's struggling to replicate what he's done in the past, we've had one of the easiest runs of the season so far and we're completely decimated by a very erratic man united you think chelsea and city will be any different, teams have beaten city this year when they go at them not sit back the entire game. He's bereft of any new ideas so he's not the safe choice people believe he is

In an ideal world we would but that's just not how football works is it? We should have beaten Luton last year but we shouldn't have beaten Liverpool, it's swings and roundabouts. The issue is whether we make up the Southampton shortfall elsewhere, not specifically that we lost to Southampton.

We have still spent almost 200m on new players.

That’s like selling your house for 200k because you can’t afford to pay the bills, then downsizing to one that costs 100k and you can just about afford the bills and then someone comes along and says you should have a better standard of living because you’ve still spent 100k on a house.

It is extremely difficult to progress as a team if you have to keep selling your best players and then using less money than you bring in on new transfersx

I hope he's out by the time we bring in a couple players because unless they're his type of premier league experienced journeyman he's not going to play them until injuries make it happen or just sit them on the bench like Jake obrien. We need players that will suit the future manager not dyche

Have we really made it up elsewhere though we're on the cusp of the relegation spots currently. I know fluke games happen but he can't beat supposedly lesser opposition when he needs to. It's embarrassing

Good luck to them. They can become Burnley to.
We were Burnley, Dyche kept our head above water. It’s the new owners in play, if they spend money and bring a world class manager in that’s fair enough.
Is Forest's squad echelons above us?
Or is there something else different?
Spent £300m more than us, and shows in every position on the pitch.
let him go to them then
that was us. Mission complete.

Of course but there are result that go against you over a season there will be results that go our way. It happens to most teams over the season.
What if I told you we are a lower team club due to us appointing VERY bad managers who dont know how to win games?
i would say, if we spent money and in that would be a good view. Would you be happy with us changing the manager rather than buying new players.
