He is just really crap isn’t he.

Makes no effort with the fans. Plays generally dire football. It’s become very partisan with fans completely at each other. And we are in real trouble this season.

Yes, he got a decent points total last year with some challenging circumstances, well done him, but most of the year was dog awful with everyone genuinely concerned about relegation until he finally won a few games at the end of the season.

if we didn't get the points deduction we would have been safely midtable.

The relegation fears were not his fault.

It's only partisan on here because people have made hating the manager an obsession.

Wasn't it last season's final day when 'His Dukeliness' saved our hides by banging in a cracker of a goal?

Or was that the season before?
Honestly, these last couple of complete and utter season's of pure sh.te have all been blurred into one long, never-ending display of absolute putrid and rancid faecal matter. šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø
If I remember correctly weren't we safe by final day last season? Arsenal away?

I've a vague memory of it being a dead rubber as far as we were concerned and just hoping we didn't get a drubbing like the game where we made Tony Adams look like Maradona.

*Just checked - After the Chelsea away horror show we beat Forest, RS & Brentford and were safe with 3 games left.

we were probably less than 45 minutes away from being relegated v Bournemouth, as half time in that game i remember going the toilets and there was this numbness around Goodison i have not witnessed before as we all thought this is it.

Also if it wasn't for Nick Pope pulling off a last minute save when Leicester played Newcastle, we were down
You're right but I hadn't gone as far back as the salvage job on Lampard's efforts.

If, buts and maybes don't really come into it - if Beto and DCL didn't fluff their lines as often we'd be higher up the league. It's pretty meaningless.

Only because we decided to win a few games at the end of the season when we won 4 of the last 6. As I said.

Dyche is a monster!

If you want him sacked he’ll turn up at your house on Christmas morning and stomp on all you ur toys (as long as they aren’t Lego obviously)

Still would have been safely midtable. We would have finished with 50 points without the deduction.
We wouldn’t, it would have been 48.

50 would have put us top 10, which we all know as have been told many many times in this thread, these players aren’t capable of.

For the sake of two points, we were not in a relegation battle without the points deduction.

Dyche kept us up quite safely with a points deduction. He deserves credit for that considering how bad we were in the previous two seasons.

In hindsight. But everyone was worried about it with 6 games to go no? 5 games to go? 4? Which was what I said in my post.

And even without a deduction, he got 13 points from that last 6, which took us from mid 30s to under 50, but no one thought that would happen, based on the run we had been on with the previously mentioned dog awful football.

Taken us 14 games to get 13 points this season. Still awaiting a purple patch.

You're bending over backwards to not give him any credit for last season.
