Sean Dyche's contract runs out this summer.

TFG aren't going to give him a new one.

They'll have a replacement in mind, or even lined up.

Whether that replacement is available now, or willing to come in now.

Whether PSR would favour allowing Dyche's/his team's contract expire.

They'll replace him sharpish if we look in danger of going down.

If of the view that it's small margins down there - and you don't want a situation where you have the manager, and half the team knowing they are off next summer.

Whatever they decide to do, they need to make signings this January - get us some pace/attacking threat and we'll get to the summer a Premier League team.
Agreed mate...

But it is kind of cruel if the Friedkin's are giving Dyche false hope by dangling that 'contract extension' carrot in front of his face, only to yank it away from him at the last minute. 🫢

There are posters on here who said Lampard and Ancelotti couldn't possibly be expected to get results with the players we have and there was no way they could follow tactical instructions or play on the front foot because of how limited they are, who now seem to have the complete opposite opinion, despite the squad being quite clearly worse. Almost as if it's down to preconceptions and how likeable they find the manager more than anything else.

Some of them same people also wanted Ancelotti out mate.

The problem with this is if they decide to stick with Dyche until his contract expires then the players we get in Jan shouldnt be anyone Dyche wants or would use because the next manager might not have them in their plans.

They should be bought with the next manager in mind, therefore lets say we get a pacy winger or 2 Dyche wont play them if they dont defend first.

We should get rid ASAP and the new manager has half a season to assess the squad of what he needs for the summer, with a little help in January.

Well why didn’t he buy more pace then with the 100mil he’s spent.
Just another excuse and it’s boring,
So the new one is, the only reason we play This turgid brand of football is because we don’t have 4 fast defenders.

If he wanted to play a bit more expansive he could play Patterson , but he only brings him on when we’re 4-0 down.

Explains to me why we don’t playing a more attacking, aggressive game v 10 men Brentford for 55mins ????? What your excuse for him staying in shape and not going to attack a team at home With 10men

You clearly don’t understand football. I can’t help you.

If Dyche stays we should only sign "ones for the future" in January. Anything else is a waste of time and money.

Why did he sell Gray if we need pace to play his preferred system?

Don’t know if you’ve noticed pal but we’re in a massive PS&R hole and some team offered us 10 mill for a player that was valued at about 500k on our books.

Plus he didn’t work backwards which I know is an irrelevance to you as you don’t believe in two way football but in the real world having a winger who doesn’t defend isn’t very helpful.

But having loads that don't attack is helpful?

Southgate wanted 12 months off.

When Dyche's contract is finished would be the time he wanted to come back to work.
