Yeah, we all forgot about all of those points deductions.
But this is why Gray, Iwobi, Godfrey get sold. Who else goes?

It’s left us with a miserably slow, unathletic group of players who haven’t got a lot of technical quality. We could definitely be playing more on the front foot than we are but I’d argue the first 75 mins we saw against Bournemouth is about the best we can expect from this group.

No legs at all, anywhere. If we open up and create bigger gaps we’ll get rinsed. Would you rather do what Southampton have done or Luton and ‘have a go’ or would you rather some pragmatism and we get through this season (Dyche needs to go in Jan if we can strengthen mind).

Yep, there's only two options, Dyche's dirgeball or Russell Martin's suicide ball. Nothing else. We certainly couldn't possibly adapt our approach based on the opposition that would be insane.

I’d argue we do to an extent. That Bournemouth at home and the arsenal away we aren’t set up the exact same are we?

We can’t open up too much against anyone because 95% of the league has more legs everywhere than we do.

Armstrong, Patterson, O'brien.
17 year old over Gana/Mangala/Garner/Doucoure?

Young hasn’t put a foot wrong for 7 games or so now, I’d drop Myko for Patterson though.

O’Brien should have had a shot over Tarkowski but hopefully that performance against Arsenal was a return to form.

There are posters on here who said Lampard and Ancelotti couldn't possibly be expected to get results with the players we have and there was no way they could follow tactical instructions or play on the front foot because of how limited they are, who now seem to have the complete opposite opinion, despite the squad being quite clearly worse. Almost as if it's down to preconceptions and how likeable they find the manager more than anything else.

I'd rather do what Brentford do
They concede a lot, score a lot, and tailor their set up to the opposition.
Doesn't always work but they are 8 pts ahead of us and it must be infinitely more satisfying as a fan

I wouldn't be surprised at all if we go down, but that's kind of why i'm a bit more relaxed about the manager than a lot of posters. I think this is a squad that could easily be relegated. It was under Lampard, it is under Dyche, and it would be under pretty much anybody. That doesn't mean they should go down, just that I don't think we have a squad that I would expect to be doing significantly better than this whoever was in charge. I can see why we've decided that trying to be defensively solid and difficult to beat is the best way to make sure it doesn't happen because I think we have a severe shortage of attacking quality, but I do appreciate that I may be wrong on that and it's possible they're better than I give them credit for. There's not a lot of evidence to support it, but it is possible.

He's lucky im not on the board. He'd have been clearing his desk after Bournemouth. His direct decisions cost the club any points.
Lets not even go there with Southampton. Russell martin now officially his only win against Sean Dyche.
Kin embarrassing
