Doesn't matter if one of the dinner ladies manages until the end of the season as long as we stay up. From then on it's a different story, and the canteen staff will be fully staffed again.
You’ll do well to find anybody on here who thinks Doucoure isn’t just an athlete with the footballing ability of Stephen Hawking’s wheelchair. Unfortunately, Sean Dyche loves him and it doesn’t matter how many times he gives the ball away, fails to control the ball or cannot even get his knee over the ball when shooting to keep it down, he’s back in the team next week because he’s good at a bleep test. The most sensible thing - as long as the results don't get significantly worse - is for Dyche to steer the ship for the rest of the season.
I think people overestimate the quality in the squad. Just look at Doucoure's finish against Arsenal. Typical Sunday league finish.
Hopefully we start a new journey next season, new stadium, and hopefully more money to spend on quality players. Then we need a new manager who can play slightly more ambitious football. Then I'm not thinking of Russell Martin, but more of a type like Oliver Glasner.
Until then, just grit your teeth and support the team. Hopefully better times will come.

But he picks doucoure for the 10 role when he’s technically a shocking footballer. He had a purple patch when dyche first came in, but for the last 12 bar the odd game his been horrific, there’s 4 better options in our squad to play as a number 10, and even say Harrison Armstrong at 17 wound offer more. So that’s on the manager, do you think he’s getting the best out of Ndaiye ??The most sensible thing - as long as the results don't get significantly worse - is for Dyche to steer the ship for the rest of the season.

I may not think he loves him, but he lacks options. Covering space and winning duels is fundamental, and without that you don't win many football matches. You would've taken Gary O Neill over Dyche?Hard to find, but Martin is the only manager I wouldn‘t have had over Dyche in the league. Even more deluded.

We had a lot of transition opportunities against Arsenal, due to a lot of turnovers and good defensive play, but we didn't have any players with enough speed to threaten the spaces that Arsenal left behind.
Here, Doucoure is actually one of the few players who has the breakthrough power to do this when he makes runs forward from deeper positions.
I once coached a team that was far behind our competition in terms of skill. They were rarely good at creating an imbalance for the opponent with the ball, and more often than not they lost the ball, and caused themselves a great imbalance in defence. But he picks doucoure for the 10 role when he’s technically a shocking footballer. You can’t keep blaming the squad for the manager.
In many ways this is the entire Dyche argument in a nutshell. It's about whether playing better football would yield better results or not. We could undoubtedly play better football if we set up to do it, but I think it's questionable whether we would actually be any better off doing that because I think there are lots of fundamental issues with the squad that the current 'style' of play negates to some extent, whereas a more expansive style may exacerbate them. It's obviously just opinion and guesswork, maybe I'm wrong and some of the players would cope a lot better than I think they would, but a lot of people just don't seem to consider the possibility in reverse at all.Yeah when he runs forward. Then the problem is that little round thing comes into play and it all goes pete tong. If football never had a ball and was just called foot he'd be fine.

He only gets a game for a team and manager who don’t want the football which in turn contributes to that team not being able to keep the ball or play expansively. It’s beyond embarrassing how far standards have fallen at Everton, it’s even more embarrassing how some have bought in to it.Im not sure about that. I watch teams in this division and almost every single one of them i think to myself doucoure wouldnt get a game as he'd collapse and break down every decent attacking move as 99% of the time he cant trap a ball or weight a pass. If you've got that weak link in a chain replace it. He got relegated with watford and in 4 of his 5 years here we've been fighting above the trap door. Its not all down to him but when you struggle to do the basics you're pretty much tailor made for a Sean Dyche side as long as you seem to run hard. The clubs mentality and recruitment needs a complete overhaul. We've morphed into Burnley. Dyche grinning like a chesire cat at the weekend. We never had a single effort at goal. Take the point as we're desperate. Dont be proud that we offer nothing other than parking the bus.
Dacoure is legs. Picking up scraps and second balls higher up the pitch.
