As a club we seem to get very bogged down with the idea our players are going to transform their output with changes in their position.
I've seen very little to suggest Lindstrom would play well in any of the forward positions. Left, right or centre, he'd still lack strength and just the general ability to create anything worthwhile.
New league, awful tactics and manager, playing in a position he’s already bombed in and not once tried at number 10 where he won a Europa league and got a big money move.
Good job we are scoring loads of goals with McNeil (you know Dwight who had never played in that position before in his entire career) there, no point in changing or trying anything different
Won't write a new player off when he's an attacking central player whose getting played as a defensive wingback almost under the anti football Dyche.
Get Dyche gone, get a new manager in like Potter then judge the lad when he's being played in an actual football team.
Can discuss this player all day.
The fact is that he, Harrison,
Ndiaye & McNeil have performed better in different positions/roles then theyre currently being used in.
Without them being used in those roles there is no way of knowing if their output will improve.
The only good thing here is that we 'own' McNeil &
Ndiaye and only have Harrison & Lindstrom on loan.
Personally i'd be using McNeil on the left if were looking to put crosses into the box or on the right if we want him to drift infield.
Ndiaye should be 10 as he's the difference maker.
