I guess the thing to take from that is that if a power structure is now waiting in the wings they can be taking or discussing key decisions ready to execute on day one.

The wait feels interminable but i suspect once done the pace of change will be very rapid.
Blindfolds for Dyche, Thelwell, "Dom", and the cringey stuttery fella working for the media team who tries to pretend he's your best friend and absolutely no threat at all as he does the post-match interviews will do for starters.

Positive and reflects very well on TFG if they are staffed up in key positions and ready to go from day one. If the report is correct.

I hope their contingency planning also extends to having a short list drawn up to succeed Dyche. Barry from ToffeeTV mentioned a rumour that there was some contact with Graham Potter. I guess through an intermediary.

Under any scenario Dyche is on extremely thin ice so if he is sacked, as I expect, they have to have his replacement ready to go as well. I'm confident that that will be the case.
Bri with all due respect Baz from ToffeeTv is as sourced as a dead otter on acid with a toblarone up its bum.

Nice to know it's still on trek and lets be honest, they have no choice but to say Dyche is safe until the takeover is complete and the new exec team decide how to proceed. They could hardly say he is getting sacked could they. I would take that part of it with a pinch of salt. There will be more than the Manager being assessed. Main thing is we are only a couple of weeks away from being rid of Mosh and having a more competent and richer group of owners, all being well. ;)
Yes 100% and it’s definitely not a tough call. What’s tough about it

Be interesting mate. Priority 1 I think has to be the upcoming window, I think we need new players in some key positions. Secondly I’d say they are keen to get in on the stadium project management launch - I think they will have very specific ideas about it and maximising it.

Have absolutely no idea what they will do with Dyche, in a way they are onto a looser one way or the other, if they stick some will be unhappy, if they twist and things disimprove say under a Potter then it’s not great. Potter links don’t fill me with hope if I’m honest.

I see Matt Hughes is writing about us again in the guardian, he seems totally downbeat that the takeover is going through. Can’t stand the little gimp.
Matt Hughes Burner account???

I was thinking today that the big advantage of this lengthy wait is that for once the people (who will be) in charge have had time to properly consider and potentially sound-out prospective managers.

Rather than Everton suddenly finding themselves needing a manager in an emergency timeframe, we actually might have it properly thought out this time.
