I wanted to vote for Lewis-Potter as Man of the Match.

(the best player on the park today was a young attacking player, highly rated prospect, bright future, doing a hell of a job as some sort of all-action left sided player that would be getting endless plaudits if he was at United or Chelsea doing the same thing; whilst we've got 40 year old Ashley Young hoofing it up the field every week).

Around ten years ago Brentford were just getting back into the championship, playing at a well past its sell by date ground. At the same time we had just hit a record points total in the PL when finishing 5th, narrowly missing CL football.
Today we struggled to beat Brentford who were a man down for half the game at our out of date ground, and are hanging around the bottom 6 again for the 3rd season in a row. How do we always seem to find a way to go further backwards after we seem to be moving forward?

Better performance but toothless in attack, they had better chances. We are in deep sh**e , unlike last season there doesn’t seem to be 3 worse teams, Southampton, maybe Ipswich and I think Palace and Wolves are in false positions. We need quite a few unexpected results in December
Anything less than 4-0 hammerings for the next month could fall into the category of 'unexpected'.

Last season we had the luxury of Sheff Utd and Burnley being gone before a ball was kicked (and finished statistically 2 of the worst teams in Prem history with 8 wins between them), this year, other than Ipswich who were League One not so long back, there are not 3 stand-out weaker or worse teams than us.

We average less than 1 point per game, are on course for 35 points at present, with an upcoming run that could realistically not add a single point to our tally before January. I hope TFG are watching closely...

That was abysmal...again, why the hell did we not make changes sooner is beyond me, everyone in the ground can see it bar the manager, who seems to have to have a huddle with his two side kicks for 10 minutes before he makes a change. Sick of watching utter dross

He wants the team to get the ball wide and cross it in, but doesn’t let his full backs overlap to join attacks so wingers are just marked out of the game. It’s all leads to turgid football.
He wants the team to get the ball wide, so he plays a left winger in No10, a No10 on the left wing, has his left back pass the ball inside every time and his right back perpetually hoof it up the pitch to the most inept striker in the league.
