I'd say he looks like a competition winner who has been given a run out, but that would be insulting to competition winners. He looks like the guy who got 4th place prize, narrowly missed out on a can of spam, but has to make do a starting place in Dyche's tinpot team.

Even a great manager would struggle to get this lot top half. Whilst I'm in the Dyche out camp, this is a squad full of rubbish.

He wants the team to get the ball wide and cross it in, but doesn’t let his full backs overlap to join attacks so wingers are just marked out of the game. It’s all leads to turgid football.

Young is a good crosser of the ball, but he hasn’t got the pace or stamina to be getting up and down the pitch for 90 minutes.

Mykolenko doesn’t have the required skills to be of much use anywhere past the halfway line.

We played well for the first half hour then we lost our impetus and when down to 10 men it was Brentford who looked the most likely to notch a victory.

The squad is nothing special, but let's not pretend there isn't a manager in the bottom half who wouldn't have done better than 11 points 1/3 of the way through the season with what we have (or at least TRIED to do better, instead of playing for 0-0's every week and calling a point a great result).

A chimpanzee should be able to eclipse 2 wins from 12, never mind a bloke with about ten years "Prem management experience" the talking heads on TV tell us does a great job.
