Not sure if it's the fight for competition that's helping some recent performances, but we have 3 superb centre backs at the moment.
I can't work out which one's my favourite, but JH is certainly putting up a case and is my player of the season so far I think.

I don't know if this has been mentioned but I read somewhere today that he's in the last 18 months of his contract now. I didn't realise this at all.

And the rumor is that he's working a new deal. I like our CB's, and he's very good. For me, I'd like to see Duffy get a few more games, but now they're a bit too important.

Hopefully he can follow Fellaini in signing a new deal. I'm delighted he's becoming so important a part of our team. Always rated him.
Don't like these calls to bin Jagielka off though, he deserves better than that. If he is to become our 3rd choice center half then he'd likely be the best 3rd choice in the league. Would only make sense if we got a daft offer i.e. £14m+. The only side I could've seen giving us that was Arsenal but Koscielny's form likely means their interest is over.

It was funny I was watching the quarter final with a friend and I said how good Johnny had been this season and at that very second he does a millimeter perfect sliding tackle to dispossess Sessignon and come away with the ball.

I sincerely hope he does sign a new deal. He's been out best CB this season and if he was to be sold this summer we wouldn't get a price that reflects his ability and worth to the club. I think eventually him and Jagielka will be our CB pairing but at the moment Distin is still doing brilliant.
Made two brilliant slide tackles on the edge of the penalty area last night even though he was on a yellow card. The man has big Dutch balls.
