How dya know bout his mentality Mr Brown?

When you see players like John and the way they conduct themselves on the pitch, you can say they're a good player.

Some absolutely superb timewasting at the end of the game today with the 'ahhhh my arm, it might be broken' routine.

John Gijsbert Alan Heitinga - Next Captain of Everton?

Would love to see Moyes announce Heitinga as next Club Captain right at the end of this season.

Benefits would be enormous:

Genuine thanks to Neville, but it's time for him to move into the management/coaching role he would excel at.

Would cement the Moyes/Heitinga relationship

Heitinga is begining to "get" Everton, this would accelerate that process

Would keep Jagielka as third choice CB or perhaps allow him to move, freeing up funds and allowing Duffy to move to third choice

We would continue to play better football etc etc.

He really is boss. I got a bit nervous yesterday when I saw Jags coming it that Heits would be moved up midfield but that wasn't the case. Even tho 3 CB's was an interesting Moyesie experiment. Maybe our formation next season? 5-2-3-0.

I love Heitinga. He's the first to come and clap the fans. Where did Jags play when he came on? Midfield? Or did Johnny move there? As much as Distin's decent I hope Jags replaces him and not Johnny. Although this is MoYlez we're talking about ffs.

CB, mate. We really played a back line of 5.

Agree, he communicates alot, shows a lot of passion at the back and rarely makes mistakes. Plus he is one of the only players that can get the crowd going

Also I agree with Neville, he has served us well but its time to stop playing football...

Still think he'll go in the summer though. He'll have given us 3 years which I think will be the maximum he'll give for any club. Not having a go like, just think he'll want a move and try something new.
