The FA Cup Semi Final TICKET thread...

I've been to every Cup game this season (CC & FA Cup). Ok, only one was away (last night) but I fail to see how they can't reward the fans who've done that. The regular 'away crew' should get priority. So for me those who have 4 or more aways and are ST holders justify top billing. Then those who have 2+ aways and are ST holders AND Auto Cup Scheme/Fans who've attended all Cup games next, then ST holders who've been to a 'number' of Cup games, and finally ST holders. Surely that's fairer than lumping ST holders and Cup Attendees in with ST holders who haven't done that. Why give fans good bonus points for attending the Tamworth game, and not use that in a priority system when allocating tickets. If we get to the Final, surely reward points will play a part otherwise why have the system?

Let's be honest. If the above happened then there'd be fans on here saying "I've been to three away games where we were totally gash, why should someone who went to a Tamworth game where it was tuppence to get in be treated the same as me"

A decision has been made. People need to get over it and, as the man from Huyton who's name is too long for me to bother typing it all in says, "just enjoy the day".

Does anyone know how many home games people will have needed to attend to have a chance of getting a ticket after season ticket holders?

Reidy's B of G -

I know that the points go back over 3 seasons, but I don't see the point in having that system if it's not used. Like I said, maybe it will matter if the Final comes into play.

Tickets are £60, £50, £40, and £30 (£10 off those prices for over 65's and under 21's).

At a guess there'll be ~10,000 tickets left after the STH take up an allocation. What's the avergae attendance this year .. ~ 30,000 ? I'd guess if you've got 8 or more home games under your belt you'd have a chance. But the club have got all the details in their database so they'll have a fair idea already how many games you'll need, but are sneakily keeping that up their sleeves to encourage people to go on Saturday. Bet it's a good turnout.

Not really.

I think its fair, if uve got a ST you will get 1, if uve got a ST and been to Aways you get more choice.

Any Clown can attend Home games, it takes REAL MEN to go Aways.

And this is speaking as somebody who hasnt been an Away game for 2-3 Seasons.

Is right.

Personally I think Wool Season Ticket Holders shoul be given preference because we have to travel miles to get to the home matches but I'm sure the anti-Wool clique will try and shoot me down on this
