The FA Cup Semi Final TICKET thread...

same here put our customers numbers in (4) and got seats together the first number though is the one that counts for away games, so if the others have more than you, you only get tickets based on the lowest number of games so if you have 2 aways and your mate has 3 but wants you to apply then you have to apply on the 2 away day

someone with 3 has to apply on the 2 day.

No mate, it's sensible. You're showing a real commitment to the cause if you go to away matches.

7 games ? Sure
2 games ? Nah. Wigan is 20 minutes down the road so that's one proper away game, not really more 'commitment' than going to every FA Cup game including last night, and both carling cup games.

All they're doing is using the same mechanism they do for selling tickets for the away games. I've got some sympathy for you on the "2 away games" thing, but even there, they're rewarding the lads who have made an effort to go and support the team in ( like Wigan, apart from the fact that the pies are boss ) some pretty awful places. No method is 100% fair, but I think this is a decent way of doing it.

I think its unfair, i could have skipped those matches at home which were bound to be **** atmospheres and **** matches, and went to a few away matches for the same price.

What happened to the points system ?
Good point, but I presume that'll come into play when all the season ticket holders have had their chance.

Your all getting tickets so stop the moaning ffs and enjoy the day
We're in the semi-final mate. The urge to be jubilant needs to be dealt with my finding something to moan about. As Blues, if we have nothing to moan about then we tend to panic and would probably invent something to worry about ... I think.

Remaining tickets will be available for purchase to those supporters who frequently attend home matches at Goodison Park

Looking like it will just go on amount of games attendend

I've been to every Cup game this season (CC & FA Cup). Ok, only one was away (last night) but I fail to see how they can't reward the fans who've done that. The regular 'away crew' should get priority. So for me those who have 4 or more aways and are ST holders justify top billing. Then those who have 2+ aways and are ST holders AND Auto Cup Scheme/Fans who've attended all Cup games next, then ST holders who've been to a 'number' of Cup games, and finally ST holders. Surely that's fairer than lumping ST holders and Cup Attendees in with ST holders who haven't done that. Why give fans good bonus points for attending the Tamworth game, and not use that in a priority system when allocating tickets. If we get to the Final, surely reward points will play a part otherwise why have the system?

My girlfriend has been to all the cup home matches, reckon that may be enough to get a ticket? If so i can get an extra one!

the points go back to when the system was created though i.e. 3 seasons ago, there isn't a total just for this season.

Are there any ticket prices up there yet ?
