There's people talking the negatives of Ancelotti returning to Everton.

I mean, that's nearly as bonkers as the people who wanted Ancelotti sacked when he was here.

The only negative with Ancelotti or Mourinho would be their penchant for experienced signings. Allan and James of course seemed ideal but in the position we will be in, we need 1/2 a squad rebuilt for the future.

Would they be the best to build a squad or are they going to allow Thelwell to build and they simply coach?

Depends who they want the three linked potter sarri and conceicoa without a club. I have no problem if they replace him with somebody they want in charge for next season now. Just dont really see point of a short term manager to replace dyche.

Not like he would come here but would get so much more from this squad and even if it was just for two seasons. Would put the club in a far better position

Potter we know plays a style which favours an underdog. Its pleasant to watch and if we could bring in superior players than he had at Brighton we'd definitely fancy ourselves in the top 6 fairly quickly.

Conceicao plays simple and effective football and while hes no Amorim, he has had a lot of success in Portugal and also done well for a season in France (Nantes). Played in Italy as well so a good playing and management foundation.

Sarri i would be wary of as he needs players with specific skillsets.

One hopes and prays, that TFG is scouring world football now, for an exciting, young, and positive manager.

Is everyone negative on Kieran Mckenna now?

Hes got a team pretty much built in the summer window and may need more time to gel? Massive success with Ipswich and the only 2 concerns would be:

1: Is he good enough for the top or a level below this division?

2: Can he win games at this level?

If we could have any coach in world football - with the constraint that we only have a transfer budget that stays in FFP - who would you get ?

I don't watch much outside the PL - the only fans that are probably happy right now are Liverpool, Chelsea, Forest and Villa - Slot, Maresca, Valente and Emery.

It's probably Emery isnt it ?

Ancelotti

I would have Carlo back in a heart beat. It only dropped off in his final couple of months because Real Madrid turned his head. Still 3rd of all time with his win rate despite the fall off. One of the best managers we have had in recent times. Not that he would ever come back mind.
Nah, he didnt know about Madrid till the summer. We dropped off because the ass fell out of the squad with injuries, and a weirdly poor covid home form. Some belter games that season. The spurs 5-4, I could watch all day.

Is he still on X / Twitter? Maybe time to start a fans campaign to bring him back, tagging in the new owners of course
