Saw a poll this afternoon giving trump a fairly substantial lead in both Florida and Texas .

The polls are all over the show , further illustrating how close it could be . When she was announced there was a big bump for Harris but later polls seem to show it leaking away .

I certainly hope for Harris and I think she might judge edge it but it’s so tight lots of things in the next couple of weeks could tip it either way . As has been said many many times in heard by those more learned than me it really is about mobilising their base and getting them out there .

Im not sure she's leaking away. She has one that was +5 earlier. But crucially she is getting to 50%, which is huge.

Why do you think that? Trump was no worse than Obama, Biden ect. I just see them all as bad as eachother. Not much will change our lives regardless of who's in.

Personally, I don't think the war in Ukraine happens if Trump is President. Same with Isreal and Palestine, I don't think that happens either. I'd also say women in America are just as safe under his watch as they were under any other previous male Presidents.

I don't dispute your point. I'm sure war in Ukraine and Gaza would've very well happened even if Trump won the election in 2020. But the fact of the matter is, during 2016-2020 there were no territories Russia invaded and there was no war between Israel-Palestine. That's a simplistic way of looking at things but that's the only relevant fact to the American electorate. People romanticize the good peaceful times and stick to it.
