Wasn't sure where to put this, just read it on a SAFC forum RE: The State of Everton.

Moyes has to go. Simple as. If not we will just get worse and worse because he's a loser. Bingham/Lee/Harvey - to name just three past Managers - were no worse that this man, but in their time were considered failures. This man has lasted 10 years and is definitely a failure.

B*llocks

when you think about it hes never been given stick inside the ground after 10 years ,theres not another set of fans in world football that would not of taw into him at sometime ,which as fans i suppose we should be proud of

Why the **** should we be proud in tolerating someone who's not good enough to manage this club?

We spit enough vitriol at the blokes at the top.

Not good enough to manage the club? I believe we were batteling relegation when Moyes took over? If there is anything that is not good enough for the club then it’s our board, not the manager.

'Do you know how frustrating it is for a big club like ourselves to be portrayed in the media as "punching above our weight" every time we win a game? Because that's what they say every. single. time. Without wishing to sound kopite-like i.e. living in the past, we are the 4th most successful club in the country and this can't be tolerated.'

That should be etched into 4 stone tablets and dumped on the doorstep of each of the largest shareholding directors of Everton. It's an unreported scandal what's happened to this club, and those who have tried to report it have been vilified...by fellow Evertonians desperate, for some reason, to keep the dickheads in control and for nothing to ever change (you know who you are).

Absolutely criminal.

the smb is where all the idiots of the club hang out and tell everyone how bad all the plaers are and how every outher team is rubbish if you want to speak to the normaly fans try not606 :)

Agreeing here too.

We should never bow to mediocrity, given our history, but I can't help feeling we'll never get investment unless we upgrade our ground, and getting rid of the manager is only a temporary patch on the whole Club.

Years of watching from the sidelines has taught me that no-one will ever agree to anything regarding the Old Lady, and that folks, is why we'll never go anywhere.

But what does this humble fan know eh.

Do you know how frustrating it is for an Everton supporter to come on here and read all your posts - that seem to thing we have a divine right to spend millions and challenge for trophies because weve been around along time and were good 30 years ago!

The game has moved on and whilst we haven't been left as far behind as some (look at Forest / sheff Wed etc) we have been a bit. However, we have managed to achieve modest levels of achievment given that fact - and it is this reason everybody is getting so irate now.

Moyes - the man you seem to want rid of - is the guy that achieved this - took us from relegation strugglers to PL respectability and now when we have poor runs and are only on the fringes of the top 8 we are being criticised for it. He raised the bar of our expectations but it is a difficult level to maintain as we have to run to stand still.

so rather than looking where we were in the 80s and before look where we are and what weve done since the PL stated in 1992 - very little for the first 10 years of it!

We dont have divine rite to win things, we dont have a divine rite to even be in the Prem - we are because we are good enough and because the club have managed to achieve ths with minimal resources.

I would love a billionaire owner and be like City are now - but remember - its not that long ago they were playing Gillingham in the lge 1 play off final having fallen so far. The fact that we never have deserves some credit.

Stop moaning and more importantly stop living in the past - it went away along time ago!

Most hypocritical post of the day so far. The 'poor run' has been going on for 2 seasons now. Stop recounting Moyes' past 'achievements' and look at what he is doing now. The present is all that matters in football.
