Dyche should be skewered for giving up 10 goals in the first three matches. It's completely unacceptable. But given his history, I doubt that will continue.

He was to busy blaming the players. He constantly makes excuses up. Keeps bring up what happened before he got here, that’s a guy under pressure and struggling to cope with it. After Bournemouth scored he was acting like some drunken lunatic trying to flag a taxi down. No calmness or trying to organise his team, he was just screaming and waving his arms about.

The interesting thing with Dyche is he has a perceived reputation as a conservative defensive manager - its really not the case at all.

Hes actually fairly aggressive, he plays a high press - when he probably shouldn't and he goes after games, when a draw is probably in the offing.

The results indicate that - in the sample above its even more indicative if you include the Dec results- in his time here its been high, highs and low, lows in runs of fixtures - its an absolute trend.

Wouldn't surprise me if we go on a winning run now.

If he had consistency of results - some of the wins and losses being draws - i dont think threads like this would be as polarised, binary or reactive - kind of like how Moyes was.

Hes right to blame the players, what would you say if you were the manager - "bad luck lads, do the same thing next week" id go through a team of U12 if they did what the players did on Saturday - its massively unprofessional for professional footballers - he also came out and said he also needs to take responsibility for the result.

So when you add up the equation of who was at fault and what he acknowledged it was the- the manager and the players - well thats exactly what he said isnt it.

It was in the post-game presser, he just says at the end something to the effect of that ultimately it's the manager's responsibility. That was of course after digging the players out for like 5 mins, so it wasn't the most forthcoming example of a man taking responsibility it has to be said.

You might have to fill me in on this one mate. I was only 7 and thought that Nicolas Alexanderson was the Swedish Beckham!

I was only 10 and thought the same mate. And if my memory recalls, I think we were correct in that thinking.

But it was just off a Google. Saw Bruce in 2001 at palace and then Pardew in 2003. (Only for like a month each or something though until their new clubs paid up more money).
