weird how newcastle replaced their 33 year old ageing and mistake prone full back for a highly rated young 21 year old and a highly rated young 19 year old

its almost as if their director of football knows what they are doing
It's almost like they have a stable ownership at the club isn't it, mad I know to wrap your brain around that fact.

If signing Trippier means we’ll see less of Young, then yes. Probabaly past his best but much better than what we have.

He looked absolutely dreadful last season, though the season before he looked like a proper leader.

He's far better than anything else we currently have but ffs it just shows how poor our recruitment is that a 33year old is the best they can come up with to replace a 35year old and a 39year old.

I've seen more creativity from a 3 year old child than we get with Thelwell & Dyche, rancid the pair of them

We are slowly getting that age down

It’s sticking a piece of sellotape over a hole in a dam but Trippier on a cheapish loan(massive wages aside) would be ok. Covers both full back positions. Less viewings of Ashley Young.

Was terrible at Goodison last year and yes looks to be on the decline, but was starting for England at the Euros.
