I don't think players are that arsed about playing in a new stadium. That said ( sorry @Alan Whittle) Selhurst Park must be the worst PL stadium now that Real Luton have gone back to where they belong.

Only the same rumours that you have seen. He is seen as a decent prospect and probably preferred to a couple of others we are looking at apparently (including Jobe Bellingham at Sunderland apparently).

Have they? Where have they finished the last 3 seasons? We can leapfrog them in a summer and we've been atrocious for 6 years.

You have to look at what base the clubs are starting from. Pound for pound Palace are doing much better than us.
