Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Good morning all on this lovely here ,we are due higher temperatures than Southern Europe today ! I hope all had a good night and have a great day today I have finally got around to slicing up the two trees I fell earlier in the year and I picked up a trailer load of pallets which I am cutting up to burn .They are so good because they are free and dry .We had to buy some wood in and it cost 100€ which is still stuck in my throat .In the words of the immortal bard ,I am a tight arse .Have a great day all COYB.

Listened to a great interview with Neil Lennon today while commuting. A very underrated professional now in football circles and probably never fully appreciated either while playing.

Great anecdotes about the Old Firm rivalry and playing under Martin O’Neill kept me entertained with a few belly laughs. I had forgotten how good that Celtic team was as I remember the nights out rather than the games themselves 😗

Morning all, cloudy this morning after a very wet day yesterday. Watched the Spurs/City game last night. The Spurs fans cheering on the opposition and celebrating the fact that their team lost. I know it meant Arsenal’s hopes of winning the Premier League are almost gone but why would you want your team to lose - I’m baffled or is it just me?🤔.
Wednesday today so off for a natter with my friend later, have a good day all.💙
PS hope your headaches are easing @Terrarian .

Good morning all. It's a bit overcast here - definitely not the lovely sunshine we've had recently. I completely agree with you @Gwladysover. I never want Everton to lose.
We're out tonight - meeting up with the friends we go on holiday with so that will be nice. We're going for a meal in a pub that Jordan Pickford has been known to frequent when he's back home. The food is really good but it isn't posh or flash and not particularly expensive - all of which adds to my liking for our goalie. I'll let you know if I see him!
I also have a blood test later. My liver enzymes are raised. So after 6 weeks of not drinking ( apart from the afternoon out with the cousins) as recommended by the doctor, I'm hoping they are lower. Although the amount I drink these days is negligible. I rarely drink at home and I'm usually driving if we go out.
On Thursday I have the joys of a work staff conference so I have to attend work. Not actually work but a hotel in Darlington. From a purely social situation it will be nice to see folk in real life rather than on a screen but what a ridiculous waste of money. 3 hours of my life I will never get back and from what I can gather nobody is planning to work afterwards- they are just going to take flexi for the afternoon. So zero work accomplished by around 300 people. Sorry that turned into a bit of a rant.
Have a good day everyone x

Morning all, it’s cloudy here as well but at least the temperature is keeping warm. I watched the game last night too and as much as we go on about the s**** I would never want to lose especially if there was a possibility of a champions league place involved. Talking of Europe it’s 39 years to the day since we played Rapid Vienna in Rotterdam. I had just met my husband then and he sent me a postcard from Rotterdam which I still have - young love eh?
Enjoy your meal out and your work do @anjelikaferrett , and your catch up with your friend @Gwladysover. I’m off for physio as although my back is a lot better as soon as I up my activity I can feel it again, so full on patient compliance for me as it’s only 2 weeks to the hop.
Have a great day everyone 💙

Good morning all on this extremely sunny day ,I am just back from the bone marrow thing ,google is great but sometimes it would be better not to read too much ,it was quite bad but if I had to do it again for a transplant to help someone I would not blink .I told the doctor it was no worse than a hammer on my head ! I just have a dead leg from the anesthetic .As @Val P said they are doing it to find out what is happening ,as of now they are not sure why the marker on my kidney blood test is high . I hope all slept well and have a great day and it would be nice to hear from @Terrarian to let us all know he is better .COYB

Good news today. Chris got his tissue results back. They removed 9 lymph nodes, and 4 had melanoma. The results have shown that the melanoma cells were all in the middle of the lymph nodes and had not extended beyond the edges. So, it is very unlikely to have spread. He is seeing his surgeon about his foot next Thursday ( they have scheduled a dressing change as well so everything is fresh for the wedding ❤️) . So if the surgeon is happy everything is out then that's it. He will have to have a follow up scan to fully make sure and an oncology referral. They might offer radiology or immunology as a belt and braces option. I am so happy and so relieved x

Well, it’s been a lovely sunny day here. Just got back from running my granddaughter home from school, beautiful sunshine. My wife got out of the car and walked into the house in the sunshine while I parked the car. As soon as I got out of the car it absolutely battered down. Looks as though it’s passed over us now mind…..

Took son’s dogs for a walk while we waited for granddaughter to return home. Sound of thunder in the distance and spitting with rain so thought it may be good idea to meet her off the bus - too late she was halfway home when it started pelting down. She arrived home soaked to the skin, literally.

Come on guys.

If Everton were safe in mid table and playing Arsenal in the last game of the season , going head to head with the RS for the title I'd want Everton to lose that match every day of the week.

Postecoglu has never been a fan with deeply bedded rivalries so can't understand the fans opinion.
