I don't know why we wouldn't take up the one year option, with all the other players we already need to replace. Age not a massive issue, his game isn't really dependent on pace. Yes he's on high wages, but the cost of replacing him would be much higher than the cost of paying him for a year.

Because the option will probably be on the same wages, £80k+ id expect.

He was motm ahead of Branthwaite but how many games has he delivered this season?

Also when he plays both Onana & Garner are worse as he gives up so much space behind him when going towards the ball.

Onana career is finished at Everton. Deal with it. Take the money and move one to someone who puts in real effort.
