Price of petrol shooting up again. My local Tesco garage has gone up 4p in a week. Utter crooks.
I was driving up the M6 on Monday, and the service station had diesel for £1.92 per litre. I know you may more in such locations, but it ain't far off £2 a litre!
We are just constantly getting bombarded with more and more costs and taxes.
It's gotta break soon. One needs to go. Either them (Tories) or us..

We urgently need a genuine, society-led mass movement to cut petrol and diesel consumption.
Reducing it by 5-10% across the whole country - which is eminently achievable given that polling shows many journeys are for distances that most people could walk or cycle easily - would put real pressure on domestic wholesalers. If the movement spread to the rest of Europe (or better still worldwide) then we'd see increasing pressure on the oil price as well.
It would also help the environment and people's health too, as well as make those journeys that people have to make less bothersome.
To ease this, would require pretty radical legislation that simply won’t happen no matter who is in power.
