Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Anyway, to steer (haha) away from the topic of electric cars - I'm getting married next Friday! We're doing a signing and gathering with friends only, a proper church wedding with all the bells and whistles is in the plan for next year on the same date as it's more difficult to organise due to parents, etc.
Wonderful. Congratulations

Seems like those consumers who moved onto EV’s have been mis-sold the premise. Yes it may well be the future but it is a reach to describe it as ready for the here and now.
I'd would only get one if I never drove more than 200 miles in one day.

Can you imagine driving down the motorway seeing that you need to charge your vehicle, pulling into the services for a "quick" hour charge only to see that there are 10 other EVs waiting to use the 4 charging points.

It won't work until the initial cost of buying comes down , they sort out a decent battery range and massively increase the number of public charging points and as @Terrarian says sort out the issue of lithium mining.
