Barbie - the verdict.

A very intelligent and funny film with important underlying messaging

A bit overlong and could have done without the"Kenoff scene ".

Anyone watching with an open mind will surely find something of value in it.

Mrs J enjoyed it up until 30 minutes to go. I watched the whole film but I agree with her that it was a bit too strange in the end

Overall I'd give it 8/10

You may enjoy the score though which was absolutely brilliant, a 1920s jazz theme (the film was set in the 20s). If you get the chance to buy the vinyl of the score I highly recommend.

Actually watched the first 20 minutes of Babylon and turned it off.

You probably wouldn't have got much if any of the score in the first 20. Margot deserved an Oscar nomination for that. Two years running she's been overlooked.
