I'm saying that the interest is not serious unless there is an offer. Not that other potential investors are not serious. Two very different things.

If the price is too high then they have every right not to make an offer.

They are paying 550m in total, according to earlier reports.


Everton have been sold to 777 Partners, the struggling Premier League club said on Friday, with the U.S. private equity firm taking over from Farhad Moshiri in a deal reportedly worth more than £550 million ($685m).

The Miami-based investment fund said it had signed an agreement with British-Iranian billionaire Moshiri to acquire his 94.1% stake in the club. The takeover is subject to approval from the Premier League and FA.

Wasn’t it extended or did I did I make that up.

Wouldn’t think he’s in to much of a rush or bothered, with 150-200 mill passing through the club coffers that’s not his - known to the rest of us as long term debt.

Well they are because Everton Football Club owe that money, so the debt comes with the club
