Insanity all round. Extending their exclusivity? So still turning a deaf one to Esks mythical squadron of alternative buyers.

Mosh may be a tool, but there will be vaguely sensible lawyers and accountants involved on all sides, with plenty of work already done and costs racked up. They must somehow be confident of getting it done if they are willing to just keep going with this.

this is utter madness why?

777 or Mosh for some reason could be manipulating the sale date. We certainly look much less likely to get relegated than we did a week ago.

Also highly unusual to buy a company/business that’s in the middle of any legal or regulatory processes; potentially huge impact on what the buyer gets for their money. If the IC had said our mitigations were all bob on, full points back and recommended the second charge should be dropped, suspect there would have been movement. As it stands, a bunch of random unknown toffs still have the chance to try and relegate us. Even 777 might not be daft enough to pay Mosh’s price for a Championship club desperately selling players to ensure they don’t break EFL FFP rules.

Who knows. Everything written and spoken on this deal is 100% guesswork. Best to just ignore it all and put the kettle on.
