Hi folks. All this talk of @Gwladysover 's trip to Goodison is making me want to visit. I'll have to see if son and I can co-ordinate a date when we are both available. He's fully involved with wedding stuff at the moment. My foot is getting better slowly. Getting X Ray on Friday. We had a viewing on my Dad's house last Saturday. They have asked to come back again for a second look. Fingers crossed.

Glad to hear your foot is getting better, and hope you manage to sort your dad’s house out but it must be very difficult for you x

Talking about Bernie’s the other day look at these prices, it was on the oldies thread

I saw that as well ,when I was young someone said that because of inflation prices double every seven years and I found that to be quite accurate ,that means 4x after 14 years ,8x after 21 years so after 56 years that would be 256 x meaning we are actually getting really cheap wine and cheap food .For certain if the factor of 7 years changed it would reflect very differently .
