Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Morning everyone,

@anjelikaferrett are you watching the cricket? Wonderful stuff. As I type we need 5 more wickets and India need 60 more runs. Think it's in Indias hands but good fightback.

Strange the things you think about when we go to sleep but I was struck that we haven't heard from our old friend @fandjango for absolutely ages. Is he in Spain , travelling around New Zealand or what? Be nice to hear from you fella.

Not sure what the week.ahead has to offer.

Have a lovely day everyone.
Was thinking of @fandjango yesterday, also @Terrarian hope your head is better. Be good to hear from you both.

Morning all, bright and breezy here, that’s the weather not me! Early starts again as back on the school run after half term. We have the job for the foreseeables. You may remember me saying that Grandma, who normally takes most of the strain, was having major surgery, unfortunately her recovery has not gone as expected and she has suffered multiple setbacks so it looks like being a long haul. The mornings are lighter so that’s a plus and we get to hear the dawn chorus, the blackbird has started singing in the mornings already. Spring is nearly here.
Have a good day, all.💙
I hope grandma gets better soon. There are definitely signs of spring, we were in the garden yesterday just pottering and tidying and bulbs were out, buds on the clematis, it was a bit cold but lovely.

Morning everyone, a beautiful bright start to the day. Off to meet ex colleagues for breakfast in a bit which is always time for a good laugh and catch up. We’re meeting in a nice garden centre so a good opportunity for a mooch around too although it never ceases to amaze me how they load the prices of stuff in these places. Then calling in on my son on the way home who has a week off work which is nice as it’s his 30th birthday on Saturday- he must be building up to it.

Yes I've been listening to TMS. They made a good fightback but that second innings was abysmal. I see Stokes didn't bowl at all in spite of the hype about seeing him in the nets. India must be loving this - done it all without Kohli.

Morning all. I've swapped my non working day this week so I'm off today instead of Wednesday. Oh the trauma of having to work 4 days in a row! We're supposed to be going to a friend's Mum's funeral but I'm not sure how my foot will cope. It's still swollen- but nowhere near as much. However I still haven't got any shoes that I can fit into. I tried my daughter's boots and could get my foot in but couldn't zip them up. I'll decide later what to do.
I'm sick of all the hype about 'Klopp's kids'. There are 21 year olds serving in war zones, working in hospitals, working as firefighters on a fraction of the pay. Yes, they won but stop making it sound like they've been in the trenches in WW1.

Yes the over hype does make me sick too. But to be fair they were very good.

I suspect that if we had such a batch of good youth players they wouldn't even make the bench under Dyche

I'm plodding along, headaches are still pretty bad and it has affected my mood, I've been mr angry last week, I thought I was spiralling down again but seem to have levelled out a bit.

I'm lurking and dropping the odd post in the Everton forum but not really engaging in conversation because I'm a bit touchy.

Thanks for asking as always.

Hopefully I can start contributing more soon.

Utter bollocks about that 4 points as well, stinks of corruption.
