6 + 2 Point Deductions

Surely Forest's best case scenario is a 6 point deduction now, regardless of what happens to us
Given the independent commissions don't accept any mitigating factors then Forest don't have a case with their argument regarding the Johnson sale. They will get at least 6 points and I think it will be even more - 8 points at the very least would be my prediction.

I think Forest will be relegated.

There's no clarity on whether we will get further points docked by the second charge.

Anyone read anything anywhere in the statement that gives us a hint at least whether there would be double jeopardy?
The biggest indication seems to be that there is a clear acknowledgement that our finances are trending in the right direction, which this latest commission have gone out of their way to credit us on. Could potentially go some way in helping our case with the second breach.

I am actually angry at the club claiming to be satisfied

Would United or City or the Reds leadership get 6 points docked and claim to be satisfied?

Pathetic
Its easy to do that when you're the one with all the power though its not the same when you're not. Anyone with any sense knows that the premier league are scared of the biggest clubs leaving and ruining their golden goose they know if they go after one of them teams they will be pushing that possibility closer but they couldn't care less if we kick up a fuss because we have no power!

The fact they have disregarded our 23 accounts as further evidence of downward trending losses implies the downward trend has continued. So our second breach should be smaller.

2 points returned due to downward trending losses. This should happen again. Forest will not get this.

The manager and players have to do what Southall said a few days ago - that’s get on with it and affect things the right way on the pitch.

At least they and we known where we stand now, it’s dragged on for far too long and Everton should be kicking up a stink about it, which we know they won’t.

We can keep the protests and boos going for the corrupt premier league - they get the job done on the pitch.

From this part of the findings, it does still appear that a more significant breach could result in a higher penalty. I think the speed analogy makes that fairly clear.

I've got sympathy for them, but rather them than us obviously

I want to take a poll here:

Do you believe that the clarity of our points deduction now will lead to an improved performance?

Was it really weighing so heavily on the minds of our players?

Will it lead an increase in morale, hence, better results?

Yes but it is likely to be a lot more than that because it is a certainty their over spend is a lot more than ours and their loss threshold is a lot lower than ours too because they are a promoted PL team which reduces it from 105m over a 3 year period to 61m (i.e 35m for 1 PL season and 13m each for Championship season)
