Summer Wish List?

1. midfeild general, no idea who, but moyes knows we need one and im shure he will be looking.

2. Arshavin. option on the wing or in the Cahill position. also (god forbid) what if Yak got an injury? with Vaughan out we would be left with AJ and Vic. Arshavin would be another option there. depends on the price but i would like to have him.

3. Pienaar-no doubt will be signed.

a new RB would be on my list but i doubt we will get one, few reasons-Neville probably wont be dropped and there maybe no room in the middle for him if we make said signings, Rodwell and Gosling-not shure whether they will be considered midfeilders but i know Gosling has played RB. dont know if this would work but Jags? now he has his confidence back, we certainly know he can defend.

Pienaar
Fernandes
Glen Johnson (or someone better, less wages, etc...)
Andres D'Alessandro
Michael Bradley

i wouldent mind joey barton as replacement 4 cars, plue he's younger and can pick a pass out or big tom huddleston from spurs, theres no way moyes is going 2 by a right back becoz he will not drop neville, i also think we need a winger bentley come 2 mind

Barton was all ready to be done in the summer, however Moyes vetoed the transfer after interviewing him, as for every misdemeanor he had a an answer for it, i.e. everything was someone else's fault.

I think another decent goalkeeper wouldn't be a bad idea. Howard is great but he has his sloppy moments so some decent backup (and potential replacement if he is young enough) can only be good. Although a decent keeper who would sit on the bench for a few years might be hard to find, and maybe we already have him.

Most important thing is to sign Pienarr full time, dont really care about Fernandes unless he sorts himself out soon.

Arshavin, Gonzales or Bradley would all make good additions and help improve the squad hopefully.

But my biggest preference would be David Bentley from Blackburn. Probably wouldn't be cheap but i think the guy is genuine quality and would hopefully come here for decent European football.

In your opinion...yes.

I think he has looked dodgy over the last couple of seasons and doesnt command his area enough therefore sooner rather than later he needs replacing

Name me a goalkeeper, that is available, that is better then Howard?

No world class keepers want to play 2nd fiddle for any teams anymore, thus leaving hardly any better goalies then Tim.

Who was talking about this goalie playing 2nd fiddle? I am talking about a replacement for him, not a back up

You havent seen many then i take it?. Are U20?

I'm still waiting for an answer to his question.

Fact is Halewood is that to "improve" the goalkeeping position, it would require money well beyond what Moyes is willing to spend as there aren't any keepers out there that are a marked improvement over Howard.

So, when you come up with a few names that are a substantial improvement over one Tim Howard, I'm all ears.

As it stands, it's a moot point.

It's obvious you weren't talking about a backup here. We have pressing needs in other parts of the park. Our starting goalkeeper is not one of them.
