The longer this goes on the more I’m convinced they’re going to reject the appeal. They have to deal with every issue raised in the appeal and have grounds for rejecting them. If our case was acceptable the decision would be easy and thus rendered sooner rather than later. Prepare for disappointment.

You could also argue that there is one thing that the PL would like less than an angry protest, and that's a smug bouncing Goodison laughing at them. Neither option suits the PL that's why Tuesday will be the day regardless of the outcome.. we won't have a home game fr the best part of a fortnight after that.

Either that or Alan Myers the Sky guy actually knows what he's talking about. They say mid-Feb, but even about 2/3rds way through is fashionably late for these things.

Nobody expects the inevitable appeals for the 2nd charges to be sorted by 24th May, so why would we expect this one to be sorted by 12pm on 15th Feb.... or whenever TF 'mid February' is.

I propose taking a leaf out of jarg South American clubs' books and having a date in the stadium name.
