maybe they have already approved the deal and just haven't bothered to tell anyone
Thought had entered my mind that 777 are acting like it’s a done deal but I can’t work out why they’d get the nod in private but the PL wouldn’t put it through officially.

Add to that the BBC report that approval might closely follow the appeal verdict even though there is no link between the two processes, and Masters stating it was a few weeks away, which was also the timeframe for the appeal.

The only link I can think of between it all is that if the final terms of the deal depend on the outcome of the PSR charge it might have been given the nod but all parties are waiting on that outcome to formalise it?

The only reason that would be the case is that 777 is allowed to back out of the deal if the outcome is not in our favor. If that's the case, then we won't know until the 2nd charge is levied, logically...

If it was just a simple matter of money (less money should we be in the Championship) that would be known and part of the deal.

The more likely scenario is just what Masters said...they are awaiting information from 777.

The explanation just wears a bit thin the longer it drags on. They’re not hunting through drawers trying to find where they put the accounts, if satisfactory information existed why would it be kept back? How long do they wait to be provided with this information?

So the man utd Jim Radcliffe investment is approved. Yet everton are still waiting months down the line for 777 partners one to be ratified. While at the time taking expensive loans to cover payments that may need paying back. The Premier league need to sort it out and they need to give us our points back while they are at it

777 just not happening…

Yes, it is 777 have been quoted in saying that they would look into buying players cheap for the likes of Genoa and Standard Liege and if they prove their worth move them onto Everton but that doesn't seem like it will be able to happen now with these new rules, I suppose when that was the case it seemed like the only good thing about them but not anymore
Blocked because we might possibly do it in future.

Yes, the guy with money is easily approved.

Assuming that is the turnaround time for a “perfect” application with no issues how long can they possibly let it drag out for 777 before concluding they cannot and will not pass the test?

Meanwhile you have 777’s head football guy sitting two seats down from Dyche in the directors box on Saturday while he’s actively managing a game, despite 777 having no formal involvement.

What games are being played here?
Madness !!
