Our fixtures April and May are full of games against our relegation rivals. If we don’t get our points back I hope we are in decent form when they come around

….not a bad round of fixtures, 4 of the 5 teams around us lost whilst we picked up an away point with a depleted side.

Each to their own but I reckon our key danger side Luton having a thumping win makes it a horrible round of fixtures in my head. Forget Sheffield and Burnley. They are toast.

Alao i dont get this depleted side line of thought...Doucs apart it's all pretty much like for like with us in my book.

Yep, The point was a good one and off course better than none - But as always in a game you can look both ways. we got lucky we got a point with the Fulham chances/misses. While we could/should have won the end. The point has been made to look a tiny touch worst by some than it was, by the Luton result

No Gana, Onana and Doucoure, which is literally our central midfield

If we had the points back, we'd be 12th (at present). Are we playing like a solidly mid table side?

It's a bit like the Silva season. Pretty good start and then totally collapsed after losing the derby in the December.

Was never any danger of relegation battle and finished last two months strongly.

When you look at what's left at Goodison home games v Palace, Brentford, Forest, Burnley and Sheffield all remain very winnable. Throw in a shock win (as every Everton team has one in the run in) and in "normal" circumstances I'd still fancy a finish of 45-46 points which would be a huge improvement on last two years.

The points deduction has complicated everything. Suddenly need to win pretty much all those listed above now to get to mid 30s and certainly not lose to Luton away.

Relegated, Branthwaite and Pickford sold in the summer, Virginia and Keane promoted to starters next season, club enters administration and starts next year in the Championship on -9 points. Likely finish next season around mid-table and end up becoming established as a Championship outfit.

If relegated I think we’ll be fighting to stay up. Starting -9 points likely to go,down

We have won 8 and drawn 4 of our games this season.

That is 28 points before our points were stolen.

About 1.27 points per game.

16 games left.

If we maintain that average it will give us 20 more points ti add to our current 18.

38 points….that will be safety IMO.

Though as @Eggs implies, no more stolen points is absolute key to this.
