Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Good afternoon. We haven't got much snow at all. A little sprinkling. It is however very cold. I've filled up the bird feeders and the feathered ones are loving it!
I'm trying not to let Everton's situation get to me but it is. It's such an injustice.
Mr F has a job interview tomorrow so fingers crossed!
We were watching the meeting earlier between the premier league and the government (I think it was) it was interesting and infuriating. But the highlight was a lady from the fans forum Julie Clark who was sat behind Masters with an Everton top on with all the non verbals you can imagine, and the chair of the government group who said at the end that if they were refereeing a game she would be at the stage to sing “You're not fit to referee ” to them! Definitely worth a watch.
It’s the change of rules in August that is really getting to me.

Should read You don’t know what you’re doing!

Yes I agree. They obviously know the current rules are a shambles.

Didn't watch it but didn't she cough at one point and called Masters a cock?

All the best to Mr F. for tomorrow, will keep everything crossed.🍀🍀

Morning all, the worst thing about early starts is getting up before the heating has come on. Changing the thermostat would be the obvious thing to do but neither of us can remember how to do it and the instruction book makes no sense! Wonder how we survived the winter when I was young - frost on the inside of the windows, no fitted carpets and only Lino and one rug in the bedroom - Mum airing our clothes before the fire so they would be warm when we put them on. I’ve gone soft over the years. lol
Have a good day, all especially Mr F. @anjelikaferrett .💙

Morning everyone,

Firstly sending my best wishes to MrF @anjelikaferrett for his job interview.

Woke up yesterday to freezing temperatures and no boiler working. Gas engineer here now but can't find the fault ( but he accepts that thee is one !) so this could be a cold and frustrating day.

I gather that we have a match tonight but given our off field problems playing a game of football and the outcome seems irrelevant. Knowing our luck Branthwaite will probably pick up an injury.

Anyway played my first game of table tennis last night and totally injury free. Actually that's not strictly true - yes I am injury free - but played on the cruise ship and won the Caribbean cup lol .

Anyway have a lovely day everyone and once again good luck Mr F.

Well done - I hope you got an actual cup for your success

Morning all. A cheery start here despite the snow, Buckie Thistle featuring on BBC Breakfast before this Sunday’s big Scottish Cup match away to Celtic. Tickets and bus sorted for me and youngest son , who,e town is decorated in Green and White hoops , should be quite a day!

Mon the Jags!
Sounds like it’s going to be a great day out and I hope you win 🤞.

Morning all, a frosty start here today, and it doesn’t bode well for our trip to Goodison tonight, but nevertheless Mr P in spite of the weather and his dodgy knee is intent on going. I can’t lose interest in the team no matter what is going on off the pitch, and as much as they often infuriate me I want to show them that they are supported. I’m sick of hearing they earn shed loads of money etc etc, at the end of the day they have been turning out some decent performances recently and I don’t see how they can fail to be affected by what’s going on, so hat off to them. COYBs 💙
Good luck today for Mr F @anjelikaferrett. I hope you get your boiler sorted @jazzy. Why do they call Buckie the Jags @blueloon?
