Watches

I've just opened my Christmas present from my dad and he's got me a replica Patek Philippe watch. He told me as soon as I opened it it wasn't cheap but isn't the real thing.
How would I go about working out what it's worth and where's the best place to sell it?
Ebay and Facebook aren't keen on selling fake stuff.

If you google "patek philippe replica" I'm sure you'll find the model you have with a listed price. There are tons of replica sites out there. I believe you can list that for sale, so long as you make it clear it is a replica. Try craigslist if you have that if the UK.

“Thanks dad it’s great did you keep the receipt” 😂

I got my wife to ask him a bit more discreetly. Apparently he got a mate to buy it on a holiday in Thailand.
Even if my wife hadn't just bought me a Samsung watch for Christmas, the one my Dad bought me isn't the kind of thing I'd wear at all. I either sell it or it'll suit in a drawer for years until it eventually gets thrown away.

Looks good. Nothing wrong with a high quality replica, except don't wear in London. Or do wear in London knowing you can have the last laugh when they find out it's not real...

Far too happy for me. I like to wallow in time flying by with sombre reverence to my ultimate demise when I look at my watch. :hayee:
